Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed Series is one of the best paranormal series available. I have followed this series religiously. I have to say I have never been disappointed. This series is exotic, thrilling, captivating and sexy to boot. Everything you look for in a great read you will find it in this series. I've gotten involved with all the charaters, and I really love when they show up in other books in the series. Just so I can see what they are up to. Whenever I start reading one of the midnight breed novels, I usually breeze right through. I use to mark my calendar with the release dates of each upcoming book so I could see what the warriors were up to next. Who would be the next to take a mate. What special talents the Warriors and their mates were gifted with. For a minute there I thought Lara Adrian was bringing the series to an end. I'm so glad she didn't. I'm looking forward to the Hunter spinoff. I highly recommend this series. It's a great read.Product details

I am a big fan of Lara Adrian and love this one. I'm not going to give away the story like other reviewers. It is definitely one that is difficult to put down until you finish it. I’m lost in the story and the characters and the fabulous writing keeps me engaged from beginning to end. It’s a keeper, one I will reread.
I loved this story about Chiara and Scythe. The Gen One Breed though one handed showers he was as strong or even stronger than. Mist Breed and Rogues. She showed that her love nit only healed him but helped him. My only wish was that there was more. I hope that we see more of these two in future releases.
I can't get enough of this series. Each book has me coming back for more. This book was just another example of not enough. I could have kept reading 100 more pages of these characters. I love how all the books tie in together and always relate to other characters from the series.
Lara has done another fabulous job. I love reading this series. Scythe is a Hunter , a very lethal Breed male. Chiara is widow of a breed male. When danger come to chaira again and Scythe is called in to do what he does best. But love has a funny way of showing up. If you love a good vampire book and action this is the book.
Ms. Adrian's writing delivers yet another romantic, passionate, suspenseful and enthralling story to the Midnight Breed series! I've enjoyed this entire series and absolutely love her other works as well. Ms. Adrian is just one of those authors who will always be a favorite! Definitely give her stories a try--you won't be disappointed!
Unless Lara Adrian writes the novella I refuse to read it. Only Lara Adrian books feel complete like a full course meal. Yes, you should read this book. The best advice I can give, you can NEVER go wrong when Lara Adrian is the author regardless the title or length of the book. I've read her books since 2007. She continues to be my favorite author
I just love that Lara is following up the series with the Gen 1 Hunters and their lives. This novella was no exception Scythe and Chiara are perfect together! The story and it's characters are very well written and thought out from the beginning to the end!!! This book is a Midnight Breed novella but can be read as a stand alone, I can guarantee that after you read this one you will want to read all the others!
